Mono Lake
I can't seem to make it happen often enough but I love seeing the first and last light of the day. This shot looking west across Mono Lake to the eastern Sierras was taken during the transition between golden hour characterised by rich and vibrant golden colors, and the blue hour known for its much softer bluer tones as the dark of night sets in. We tend to pack up and go home when the sun sets but, often, that's just when it starts getting good!
