Stjórnarfoss

Poor weather conditions are both a blessing and a curse for photographers. This is a 5 second exposure so it doesn't show any rain but, believe me, it was raining pretty hard. I used my hat as an umbrella for my camera and lens while setting up and taking the shot, and still had to wipe the lens dry in between photos. Despite the added difficulty of working in these conditions, it is hard to argue with just how much more drama and atmosphere it creates in this image.
