Watendlath Tarn
I love the Lake District for many reasons. You've got high rugged peaks, untouched valley meadows and lakes of all shapes and sizes. The pace of life here is so refreshing, and people make time for what's important. Watendlath always felt a little special to me and, through my eyes, it's the perfect visual for the Lake District. Here, you can spend hours fishing or kayaking around the tarn, hiing to remote peaks, valleys and villages or simply have a cup of tea while watching the world go by. Oh, and of course doing a bit of landscape photography!
