Bighorn Sheep
The thing about wildlife photography is that you never know what you'll see and encounter each time you go out. This can be both enjoyable and frustrating in equal parts. Hiking through Waterton Canyon we were first greeted by three beavers hanging out in the river. Then we walked around the corner to a herd of big horn sheep. Later on we would see a Hoary Bat, another 2 herds of sheep and numerous other standard, but still awesome, bird species. All within a 2 mile stretch of the canyon. Days like yesterday are why I keep getting out there and enjoying whatever nature provides that day. I love the endless surprises.
